Our main sector, as it appears and ended up being where our core expertise have fallen is surrounding umbrella compliance and the payroll industry as a whole. Within our team is a wealth of experience from IR35 to HMRC rules and compliance. When looking specifically at umbrella companies, that is where we start. To give you a base of what we check for from the outset is that the company is UK based, operates a HMRC compliant fully PAYE system and the director or directors of the business is also UK based. If the answers to any of those questions is no then we wont even attempt to go any further in the efforts to gain our stamp of approval.

Our next stage is then to verify that the specific umbrella company meets the following criteria:

- Answer our fully in depth questionairre

- Provide fully supporting evidence, eg payslips, expense policy, employment contracts, insurance etc. 

- HMRC transparency

From there and where accreditation is granted is once we are satisfied that essentially all criteria is met and that we can answer the question satisfactorily, Would we do business with them? It is then a simple as that. As long as the answer is Yes!!
